FiberScrapsTM started in 2001 by Patricia Dusman who decided to combine her years of disciplined training as a scientist with her new passion for scrapbooking and her lifelong interest in anything artistic to create unique products for her fellow enthusiasts. FiberScraps prides itself on being an innovation leader in the marketplace today. Beginning as the first mail-order fiber of the month club, the company expanded to offer designer fiber collections for the discrimating papercrafter. Partnering with such scrapbooking companies as Bazzill Basics Paper, Fiber Scraps then created perfectly colormatched fiber collections specifically designed for their paper colors.
FiberScraps isn't content just being restricted to being a fiber company. For instance, FiberScrap's EZ-Walnut InkTM has revolutionized the way people use this popular antiquing medium. The ready-to-use EZ-Walnut Ink, with its convenient and foolproof dauber applicator, was designed with clean and easy use in mind, and was the first acid free walnut ink on the market. This led to yet another innovation EZ-Walnut Ink colorwash TintZTM offered in a wide range of colors.
FiberScraps also created WeaverZTM templates, which are unlike anything currently on the market. They are clear ruled templates used to precisely cut slits in a variety of patterns on mats, border and pages, for easy weaving of many materials to create unique looks.
In 2005, FiberScraps launched its own line of scrapbooking paper called TintZ Collections that coordinate with their EZ Walnut Ink TintZ ink colors. The line consists of patterned paper, cardstock alphabet and tag stickers as well as matching fiber collections.
FiberScraps look forward to bringing you new and innovative products for many years to come.
