Fiber Scraps are easily attached to your artistic creations using a variety of methods:
Use acid free glue to draw a thin bead of glue in the desired shape. You can draw the glue free hand or first pencil in your design, then go over it with the glue. Now lay your fibers gently in the glue and set aside to dry thoroughly.
Use Glue Dots to adhere your fibers to the page. You may need to use tiny glue dots or fold or roll larger ones so that they don’t show. Use glue dots every few inches or more if necessary to secure your fibers.
Sew or tie your fibers on to your page. Punch a hole first using an awl, needle, or 1/8" hole punch Thread your fiber into a large hole tapestry needle and insert into and out of the prepunched holes. You can also use a needle threader, folded wire, folded fishing line or a special dental flosser made for people with bridges. You can adhere your fiber on the back with a photo square or a little glue. Bringing both ends to the front of the page lets you embellish with a button, beads or a bow. We have found that different methods work best with different fibers. So just experiment!
Adhere the fibers by just tying them on to a tag or other embellishment! Great for hanging lettering blocks using eyelets! Hang a matted picture from a brad or paper fastener.
